Applepalooza

There are a few days of the year that just stand out from the rest: Christmas, my birthday, Super Bowl Sunday, and of course Apple product announcement days. Todays wasn't really a big one, more a clarifying of old announcements than anything entirely new, but there was still some good stuff to be found. OS X Leopard is my most anticipated. I was hoping for a much sooner release, but it still looks good. I really like "Spaces" and the new desktop and dock features. Lots of good Apple trademarked eye candy plus useful "how did I get by without that before?" features.

The iPhone also looks very cool, but at $600 and having a year left on a Verizon contract its not a purchase I will soon make. Although whenever I see it in person, who knows what will happen. Apple products have a very powerful sway over me.
